ThinkPad Battery Life
There are many important things to look into when searching for that perfect laptop. Screen size, processor power, memory, etc. However, one often overlooked factor is the computer’s battery.
Purchasing the wrong laptop can lead to short battery life. This happens for one of two reasons. The first reason is that the manufacturer might use a poorly designed battery with their notebooks.
Another reason that causes quick power drainage is that companies often use components that drain the battery very rapidly. If you’re not careful, you could spend over $1000 on a notebook that will die after an hour of battery use.
Lenovo considered both of these factors when designing the ThinkPad. They use components (processors, etc.) that use minimum power. They also use high quality batteries. A Lenovo ThinkPad’s battery life ranges from about 3 hours, all the way up to 10 hours for the upper end batteries! Now there is no need to fear loosing power to your notebook when you need it the most.
